Lewisham local elections: Who are your councillor candidates?
Lewisham’s mayoral and councillor candidates for the May elections were announced today. Find your candidates in our table.
Lewisham has 54 councillor seats, representing its 19 wards. Some wards have two councillors and some have three.
Residents will be able to vote for their ward councillors on 7 May. Make sure you are registered to vote, deadline midnight 20 April.
Once you're registered, you can apply for a postal vote if you wish, deadline 5pm 21 April.
The Labour Party and Conservatives are standing 54 candidates across Lewisham, the Greens 53 candidates, the Liberal Democrats 52 candidates, Reform has 35, Your Party has three and there are 14 other independent or smaller party candidates.
One Labour councillor for Forest Hill has resigned prior to the elections.

Lewisham is one of only five London councils which has an elected mayor. Eight candidates are standing for election:
- Amanda De Ryk: Labour and Co-operative Party
- Liam Shrivastava: Green Party
- Josh Matthews: Liberal Democrats
- Sylbourne Sydial: Conservative Party
- Kayode Damali: Independent
- Jay Coward: Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition
- Roger Mighton: Independent
- Pete Newman: Reform UK
Mayor candidate statements will be published on Monday 13 April and you should also receive this by post.
