We publish rigorous, fact-based reporting on the news and issues that matter to local people.  We hold power to account – whether it’s the council, a corporation or a landlord. 

We tell the stories of local communities. We cover the housing crisis and the cost of living crisis. We tell the climate and nature story that is so often overlooked.

Salamander will always point towards solutions and the way out of these crises.

We're London's only news co-op; our members shape the direction of Salamander and the stories we cover.
